A custom system that replaced a maritime terminal’s Excel workbook: vessel calendar, daily inventory, penalties and reports by terminal, client and vessel.

The problem
The whole business was run from an Excel file, with constant errors in data entry and handling.
What we solved
A fully custom system with a calendar of vessel arrival and departure windows, daily inventory control of inbound and outbound cargo, overtime penalties and reports by terminal, client, vessel and inventory.
It logs every action by user and manages permission roles, on a database ready to grow with features such as GPS tracking.
